ARTrageous, an American touring performance art company that began doing street theater in the 80’s before growing into an internationally renowned touring band, as well as performance painters in 1998. In 2014 they combined their diverse artistic backgrounds into on show called ARTrageous.

Hailing from Seattle, WA Good Co is the USA’s first Electro Swing band. Combining the sounds of 1920’s and 30’s jazz with the electronic music of today Good Co uses live horns, vintage samples, and funky beats to create a whole new type of dance party. Since 2012 Good Co has released three albums and has performed throughout the US, Canada, and Europe for music festivals, conventions, burlesque performances, and anywhere else they can sneak into.

Collision of Rhythm is a duo comprised of tap-dancing classical virtuoso, Aaron Williams, and beatbox-juggling keynote speaker, Bronkar Lee.  Aaron and Bronkar first performed together onstage in a completely improvised moment during a TEDx event in Hollywood in 2013. They met backstage and knew they were musical soul brothers. Since then, they’ve performed entertainment shows, led educational outreach workshops, and given keynotes on collaboration and teamwork all across the U.S.

The Queen’s Cartoonists play music from classic cartoons and contemporary animation. The performances are synchronized to video projections of the original films, and the band leads the audience through a world of virtuosic musicianship, multi-instrumental mayhem, and comedy.

Prepare to be amazed, dazzled and bewildered by Cahoots NI’s mind-blowing production Danny Carmo’s Mathematical Mysteries – a spectacular show where math, theatre and digital technology collide to create a fun and interactive performance proving that understanding math can be fun! Meet Danny Carmo –  it’s not so long ago that he thought school and, in particular, math wasn’t for him. He was more interested in dreaming about a future on the stage and perhaps the big screen – all he ever wanted to be was a famous magician. But when he knuckled down to learn all the tricks of the trade he realized that math was not only essential… it was the SECRET to a whole load of magic.

Theater Etiquette

The audience plays a key part in the overall theater experience. Each audience member affects those around him or her as well as the performers. Remind your class that everyone will have an especially wonderful time at the performance by remembering their theater manners.

Here is how students can help:

    Remain Seated

    It is important to remain seated throughout the performance.

    Visit Restroom Prior To Seating

    Restroom visits are best made prior to seating.

    No Photography or Recording

    Photography and recording during the performance are not permitted.

    Enjoy The Performance

    Give your full attention and energy to the performers. In return, the performers give it back to you with a better performance.

    No Talking

    Don’t talk during the show unless you are asked.  Sometimes we think that if we whisper, it is okay.  But if everyone in the audience whispers, it can be disruptive to the performers.

    Turn Silent Mode On

    Turn watches, pagers and cell phones to silent.

    Do Not Interrupt

    Do not interrupt performers with comments that may disrupt the performance for others.

    Show Appreciation

    Show the performers your appreciation for their efforts by applauding.

    Your cooperation will ensure a well-focused environment for everyone to enjoy, cherish & remember.
